If you have a TV tuner or receiver at home (terrestrial, satellite or cable) with a network server, Filoteca can show its live channels with the same look as everything else. Live TV only: there are no movies or series.
Supported devices and software
| Device | Usual port | Enter | EPG guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enigma2 / OpenWebif (Dreambox, Vu+, OpenATV…) | 80 | enigma2://192.168.1.50 | No |

| DVBLink | 8100 | dvblink://user:password@192.168.1.50 | No |
| DVBViewer | 8089 | dvbviewer://192.168.1.50 | No |
| TVHeadend | 9981 | the IP address | Yes |
| HDHomeRun | — | the IP address | No |
Adding it
- Add source → TV and live broadcasts → Tuner or receiver (“Enigma2, TVMosaic, DVBLink, DVBViewer, HDHomeRun, TVHeadend”).
- In “Tuner or receiver address” enter the IP (for example
192.168.1.50), the IP with the port, the device name or the address with the scheme from the table. - If you have an XMLTV guide, put it in “EPG guide URL (XMLTV, optional)”.
- Press “Connect”.
The device and the tuner must be on the same network.
Details by type
- Enigma2: each “bouquet” on your receiver appears as a category. Channels play without transcoding.
- HDHomeRun: Filoteca reads the device's channel list and skips DRM-protected channels. Each open channel uses up one of the device's tuners.
- DVBLink: if the server asks for a username, include it in the address itself (
dvblink://user:password@IP).
Common problems
The messages are the same as for M3U lists (they are handled the same way): “Could not reach the server…” is usually a wrong IP or port, or the device and the tuner are not on the same network. Check the address by opening it in the browser of a computer on your network.
