A Stalker portal (also called Ministra or a “MAG portal”) is the kind of service used by MAG boxes: instead of a username and password, the provider gives you the portal address and ties your subscription to a MAC address. Filoteca can connect with those details and show channels, movies and series.
What you need
- The portal address, which usually ends in
/c/, for examplehttp://servidor:puerto/c/. - The MAC address registered by your provider, in the format
00:1A:79:12:34:56.
There is no username or password.
Adding it
- Settings → Sources → Add source → TV and live broadcasts → Stalker portal (MAG) (“The portal address and the MAC your provider gives you”).
- Enter the provider name, the server (URL) and the MAC address.
- Press “Connect”.
Limitations
- It only works in the Android/Fire TV and Windows apps, not in the web demo (it needs headers that the browser does not allow).
- There is no programme guide (EPG) in this first version.
- For performance reasons, up to 3,000 titles per type are loaded.
