Choose the look of your Filoteca

Twenty-three complete looks, built in. Switch any time in Settings → Appearance; here is how each one looks on PC, TV, tablet and phone.

Cinema

The original design, dark or light depending on the theme.

• Cream, serif type and framed covers: a library.
• Black, monospace, hairlines and no shadows. Dense.
• Light, very rounded, square covers with breathing room.
• Deep blue, condensed type and amber, teletext style.
• Graphite and acid green, floating dock, split header and bouncy landscape covers: a games console.
• Aubergine and tangerine, no header, grid rows and very round square covers: a gallery.
• Lab grey and bottle green, typewriter type, low band and ruled lines: a library card.
• Deep violet with pink glows, round covers and channels and a bouncy entrance: a night of lights.
• Black and white with silver, fine serif headlines, banner header, detail page with the image on top, film grain and fade-in entrances: film noir.
• Cream paper, serif headlines, a side rail menu and framed landscape covers: a magazine.
• The same magazine printed in black: warm ink, cream text, side rail and framed landscape covers.
• A darkened theatre: whatever you look at lights the whole screen with its own artwork and leaves the rest in shadow. Brass on black, serif headlines and stage lights.
• The matinée: the same spotlight on ivory paper. Whatever you look at tints the background like a watercolour and the rest dims. Bronze, warm ink and serif headlines.
• Like Prime Video on TV: what you look at shows big at the top, the focus frame stays put and the rows move instead. “Cinema” colours.
• A drive-in at night: violet sky, pink and cyan neon, a fixed stage on top with what you are looking at and rows where the focus never moves. Opens like a curtain. TV and desktop only.
• The eighties seen from the future: deep violet, electric pink and cyan, a horizon grid, technical capital letters and square covers.
• The red carpet: warm black and gold, luxury serif headlines, thin frames, film grain and every screen revealed like a curtain.
• The sea floor: teal greens with bioluminescent light, very round shapes, a glow that breathes and entrances that go from blurred to sharp.
• A comic book: page yellow, thick black ink on every edge, hard shadows, a printed dot pattern and screens that drop in like a panel.
• A pocket book: cream paper, navy ink and burgundy, print serif, notebook rules and screens that open like a turning page.
• Calm: soft garden greens, no big banner or decoration, rounded shapes and slow fades.
• The nineties neighbourhood video store: poster blue and yellow, bold lettering and films on shelves instead of carousels.
