Cookies and storage policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains what information is stored or read on your device when you use filoteca.com and the Filoteca app (Article 22(2) LSSI-CE and GDPR).
1. This website (the landing page)
- It does not use own or third-party tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
- It stores in your browser's local storage a single preference, "filoteca-language", with the language you choose. It is a technical item needed to provide the service you request and does not require consent. You can delete it from your browser settings.
- The typeface is downloaded from Google Fonts: that request does not install tracking cookies but sends your IP to Google (see the Privacy policy).
2. Sign-in with Google
- If you sign in with Google, Google may use its own cookies on its sign-in page (accounts.google.com), under its policy.
3. Payments
Filoteca does not currently charge for any licence (free beta), so this site does not load payment pages or payment-related cookies.
4. Android app
It does not use tracking browser cookies. It stores the data described in the Privacy policy in the app's own storage on your device.
5. Advertising
Filoteca does not show ads. If that changes, we will tell you beforehand and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
6. "My account" portal (filoteca.com/account)
- It uses no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
- It stores in your browser's local storage the portal session (so you are not asked to sign in on every visit) and the language you choose. They are strictly necessary technical items to provide the service you request; you can delete them by signing out or from your browser settings.
- If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may use its own cookies on its button and sign-in page (accounts.google.com), under its policy.
7. How to manage them
You can delete storage and cookies from your browser settings or, on Android, from Settings → Apps → Filoteca → Storage. Deleting the app's data removes your local sources and settings.
